EMPOWER Discontinuing TV Service

Action Required before February 8, 2021

Thank you for choosing empower.  We sincerely appreciate your business.  As your local provider, empower remains committed to offering quality, affordable solutions for your home and/or business.  With that said, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue offering TV service, effective February 8, 2021. 

What is changing?

Over time, equipment manufacturers no longer support or simply cannot keep up with industry changes, which means that technology can become obsolete.  Because of this, the TV service we provide you has become limited and extremely difficult to maintain. It also means that enhancing these services is not feasible. 

For those reasons, we has chosen to discontinue our  TV services on February 8, 2021. 

Note, this will have no impact to your internet and/or phone service provided by empower.  You can expect the same great quality and customer support for those empower services. 

What do I need to do?

There are several alternative solutions available to fulfill your television needs.  Please give our office a call at 870-336-0999 for our recommendations or visit us online at https://empowerbroadband.com/streaming-info/. Once we’ve determined the best streaming service for you, an empower Technician would be happy to come out and help you setup your streaming service. In fact, if you are a existing empower video customer who has or signs up for empower internet, we’ll give you a free Roku Ultra streaming device (valued at over $80) and a credit for one month of free internet service!

What do I do with my empower TV Service & Equipment?   

Please call us at 870-336-0999 to disconnect your empower TV Service.  Instructions will be provided by our CSR’s on what to do with your TV equipment.  Effective February 8, 2021, all empower TV services will be disconnected.
